Gnosis Chain is a highly decentralized, Ethereum-based blockchain designed for scalability, low fees, and accessibility. It originated as xDai Chain and later became part of the broader Gnosis ecosystem through a merger with GnosisDAO.
Brief
As a Designer at Gnosis, I played a key role in revamping the branding system, website, and various ecosystem products related to Gnosis Chain. The rebranding was inspired by the Solarpunk aesthetic, influencing the iconography, typography, color palette, and visual assets to align with a forward-thinking, decentralized future. My work focused on creating a cohesive and visually compelling identity that resonated with the Gnosis community and its values.
Process
The design process began with in-depth research into Gnosis Chain’s existing branding and the Solarpunk aesthetic, ensuring a visually compelling and future-forward identity.
Through mood boards, style guides, and iterative concept development, I explored iconography, typography, and color schemes to align with Gnosis’ vision. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, I refined the branding system and implemented a cohesive UI/UX design across the website and ecosystem products.
Feedback loops and testing ensured clarity, aaccessibility, and seamless integration. The final outcome was a refreshed, future-proof identity that strengthened Gnosis Chain’s presence in the blockchain space.
